""This Self, when taught by an inferior person, is not easily understood, being thought of in many ways. Unless taught by one who knows it as identical with oneself, there is no way to it, for it is subtler than the subtle, beyond reasoning.""

What This Means:

The Self can't be properly taught by someone who hasn't realized it. It's too subtle for ordinary logic - subtler than the subtlest atom.

Going Deeper:

The teacher must be "ananya" - one who knows the Self as non-different from their own being. Book learning is insufficient.

How To Apply This:

Seek teachers who have realized what they teach, not just studied it. The Self is beyond mere logic.
