अन्नं वाव बलाद्भूयः। अन्नेन ह्येव बलवन्तो भवन्ति। अन्नमेव ब्रह्मोपास्स्व॥

annaṃ vāva balādbhūyaḥ | annena hyeva balavanto bhavanti | annameva brahmopāsva ||

""Food (anna) is greater than strength. For through food one becomes strong. Meditate on food as Brahman.""

What This Means:

Food is greater than strength because food gives strength. Without food, there is no strength.

Going Deeper:

The progression: strength < food. Anna (food/matter) is the support of the vital force.

How To Apply This:

Honor food as Brahman. It sustains all life and strength. Eat with reverence.
