Chandogya Upanishad 6.19
intermediate
एवमेव खलु सोम्येमाः सर्वाः प्रजाः सत आगम्य न विदुः सत आगच्छामह इति। त इह व्याघ्रो वा सिंहो वा यद्यद्भवन्ति तदाभवन्ति॥
evameva khalu somyemāḥ sarvāḥ prajāḥ sata āgamya na viduḥ sata āgacchāmaha iti | ta iha vyāghro vā siṃho vā yadyadbhavanti tadābhavanti ||
""Even so, dear one, all these creatures, having come from Being, do not know 'We have come from Being.' Whatever they become here - tiger or lion - they become that again.""
What This Means:
All beings come from Being but don't know it. They take various forms according to karma, without knowing their true source.
Going Deeper:
Ignorance of origin perpetuates the cycle. Knowing "I am from Being, I am Being" would end the cycle.
How To Apply This:
Know your origin: you came from Being. This knowledge, when fully realized, transforms everything.
