""It is not for the sake of sons that sons are dear, but for the sake of the Self. It is not for the sake of wealth that wealth is dear, but for the sake of the Self.""

What This Means:

Sons are not dear for their own sake, but for your Self. Wealth is not dear for itself, but for the Self.

Going Deeper:

The pattern extends to children and possessions. What we think we love for themselves, we actually love for the Self.

How To Apply This:

Your love for children and wealth is really Self-love. Know this and find the true source of love.
