स एष इह प्रविष्ट आ नखाग्रेभ्यः। यथा क्षुरः क्षुरधाने हितः। यथा वा अग्निर्गार्हपत्ये। तं न पश्यन्ति। अकृत्स्नो हि सः॥
sa eṣa iha praviṣṭa ā nakhāgrebhyaḥ | yathā kṣuraḥ kṣuradhāne hitaḥ | yathā vā agnirgārhapatye | taṃ na paśyanti | akṛtsno hi saḥ ||
"That Self has entered here up to the fingertips, like a razor in its case, like fire in its source. They do not see it, for it is incomplete when seen."
What This Means:
The Self has entered the body completely, like a razor hidden in its case or fire latent in wood. But we don't see it directly.
Going Deeper:
The Self is fully present but hidden. "Incomplete when seen" means: when perceived through limited faculties, it appears partial.
How To Apply This:
The Self is within you completely, but hidden. Look beyond the case (body) to find the razor (Self).
