Gita 9.30
अपि चेत्सुदुराचारो भजते मामनन्यभाक्। साधुरेव स मन्तव्यः सम्यग्व्यवसितो हि सः।।

api cet su-durācāro bhajate mām ananya-bhāk sādhur eva sa mantavyaḥ samyag vyavasito hi saḥ

"Even if the most sinful person worships Me with exclusive devotion, they should be regarded as righteous, for they have rightly resolved."

What This Means:

Stunning verse: even the WORST person (su-duracharo—very bad conduct), if they worship Krishna exclusively, should be considered SAINTLY. Why? Because their decision (vyavasita) is correct.

Going Deeper:

This is radical grace. Past actions don't disqualify. The moment of genuine turning is transformative. It's not about accumulated merit but present orientation. Resolution trumps history.

How To Apply This:

Your past doesn't define your possibility. No matter what you've done, genuine devotion NOW makes you a 'sadhu.' Don't let shame about history prevent present turning.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Su-durācāra= Very bad conduct, worst behaviorAnanya-bhāk= Exclusive devotionSādhu= Saint, righteous personVyavasita= Resolved, determined
