Gita 9.24
अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च। न तु मामभिजानन्ति तत्त्वेनातश्च्यवन्ति ते।।

ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ bhoktā ca prabhur eva ca na tu mām abhijānanti tattvenātaś cyavanti te

"For I am the enjoyer and lord of all sacrifices. But they do not recognize Me in truth—therefore they fall."

What This Means:

Krishna is the ultimate recipient (bhokta) and master (prabhu) of ALL sacrifice, regardless of which deity it's offered to. Not recognizing this truth (tattvena), worshippers 'fall'—meaning they don't reach the highest.

Going Deeper:

The 'fall' isn't punishment—it's simply missing the mark. Ignorance of the true recipient limits the benefit. Knowing the truth unlocks the full potential of any spiritual practice.

How To Apply This:

Whatever practice you do, direct it ultimately to the Highest. Not necessarily with different words, but with internal orientation. Know where your effort is truly going.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Bhoktā= Enjoyer, recipientPrabhu= Lord, masterCyavanti= Fall
