Gita 8.7
तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च। मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयम्।।

tasmāt sarveṣu kāleṣu mām anusmara yudhya ca mayy arpita-mano-buddhir mām evaiṣyasy asaṁśayam

"Therefore, at all times remember Me and fight. With mind and intellect surrendered to Me, you will certainly come to Me—have no doubt."

What This Means:

The practical instruction: remember Krishna at ALL times (not just at death) AND do your duty (fight). It's not either/or. Constant remembrance WITH action ensures the right consciousness at death.

Going Deeper:

This dissolves the apparent conflict between meditation and action. You don't choose between remembering God and doing your work. You do both simultaneously—work becomes worship through continuous remembrance.

How To Apply This:

Can you remember the Divine while doing your work? This is the practice. Not 'think about God instead of working' but 'work while connected to the Divine.' Start with small moments of remembrance throughout your day.

Key Sanskrit Terms:

Sarveṣu kāleṣu= At all timesAnusmara= Remember continuouslyYudhya= Fight, do your duty
