prayāṇa-kāle manasācalena bhaktyā yukto yoga-balena caiva bhruvor madhye prāṇam āveśya samyak sa taṁ paraṁ puruṣam upaiti divyam
"...at the time of death, with unwavering mind, endowed with devotion and the power of yoga, fixing the life-breath between the eyebrows, such a person attains that Supreme Divine Person."
What This Means:
The technique for death: steady mind, devotion, yogic power, and focusing prana between the eyebrows (the ajna chakra). With these, one attains the Supreme. It's a combination of heart (bhakti) and technique (yoga).
Going Deeper:
This isn't meant to make death terrifying ('Will I remember to do this?!'). It's describing what naturally happens when lifelong practice matures. The technique becomes spontaneous through years of preparation.
How To Apply This:
Don't wait until death to practice yogic concentration. The techniques done daily become automatic. Your deathbed practice will be whatever you've trained in. Start now.
