yoginām api sarveṣāṁ mad-gatenāntar-ātmanā śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṁ sa me yuktatamo mataḥ
"And of all yogis, the one who worships Me with faith, with inner self absorbed in Me—that one is the most united with Me, in My view."
What This Means:
Among all yogis, the greatest is the one who worships Krishna with complete faith, whose inner being is absorbed in the Divine. This devotee is considered the most connected of all.
Going Deeper:
Even among yogis, there are degrees. The yuktatama (most united/connected) is the one whose antaratma (inner self) is mad-gata (gone to Me) and who bhajate (worships) with shraddha (faith). The path of devotion (bhakti) is subtly elevated here.
How To Apply This:
All practices lead to devotion. Whether you start with meditation, knowledge, or action, the culmination is love for the Divine. Let your practice deepen into genuine devotion, not just technique.
