Gita 6.42
अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम्। एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम्।।

athavā yoginām eva kule bhavati dhīmatām etad dhi durlabhataraṁ loke janma yad īdṛśam

"Or one is born into a family of wise yogis. Such a birth is very rare in this world."

What This Means:

Even better than a wealthy family—some fallen yogis are reborn directly into a family of wise yogis! This is the rarest and most precious birth, giving immediate access to spiritual wisdom.

Going Deeper:

Yoginam dhimatam kule (family of wise yogis) is described as durlabhatara (even more rare/valuable). Material prosperity supports practice, but being born to realized yogis means immediate spiritual immersion and guidance.

How To Apply This:

If you've found genuine spiritual teachings and are drawn to practice, consider that you may already be the beneficiary of past-life spiritual effort. Don't waste this precious opportunity.
