Gita 3.31
ये मे मतमिदं नित्यमनुतिष्ठन्ति मानवाः। श्रद्धावन्तोऽनसूयन्तो मुच्यन्ते तेऽपि कर्मभिः।।

ye me matam idaṁ nityam anutiṣṭhanti mānavāḥ śraddhāvanto 'nasūyanto mucyante te 'pi karmabhiḥ

"Those who always follow this teaching of Mine with faith, without envy, are freed from the bondage of action."

What This Means:

Krishna says: People who practice this teaching—acting without attachment, surrendering results—with faith and without resentment, they become free from karma. It works. But you need faith and a good attitude.

Going Deeper:

Three qualities make the teaching effective: 'nityam' (constant practice), 'shraddhavanta' (with faith), and 'anasuyanta' (without envy or fault-finding). Many hear teachings but apply them inconsistently, doubt them constantly, or resent the demands they make. Such people don't benefit. Wholehearted commitment to practice is what liberates.

How To Apply This:

Are you practicing detachment consistently or just when it's convenient? Do you have faith that this path works, or constant doubt? Do you accept the teaching gratefully, or resent that it asks something difficult of you? Your attitude toward the practice determines whether it transforms you.
