abhyāse 'py asamartho 'si mat-karma-paramo bhava mad-artham api karmāṇi kurvan siddhim avāpsyasi
"If you are unable even to practice, then be intent on action for My sake. Even by performing actions for My sake, you shall attain perfection."
What This Means:
Even practice is too hard? Then just do your work for God's sake. Dedicate your actions to the Divine, and you'll still reach perfection. Everyone can do this.
Going Deeper:
'Mat-karma-paramaḥ bhava'—make 'My work' your highest priority. This is karma yoga with a devotional flavor. 'Mad-artham karmāṇi kurvan'—performing actions for My sake. The beauty is that this path is available to everyone, regardless of contemplative capacity. 'Siddhim avāpsyasi'—you will attain perfection. No meditation required, just right intention behind action.
How To Apply This:
Before starting any task, briefly offer it to God: 'May this work serve You.' Before a meeting, before cooking, before exercising. This simple dedication sanctifies ordinary activity.
